Boat
trips can be made to the islands off the coast. Depending on the
time of the year, you can see seals, porpoise, sunfish and an array
of birdlife. The puffin is always a favourite and can be seen in
the springtime whilst Grassholm is the home to a huge gannet population.
Enjoy a trip onto or around Skomer Island.
The waters around Skomer Island are a marine conservation area -
a haven for divers.
Trips around Ramsey island on
a rigid inflatable boat when the tide and weather conditions are right are a must
for the more adventurous! Caldey Island off the coast of
Tenby is well worth a visit. It is run by a community of Cistercian monks who
make their own perfume,ice-cream, and chocolate. |
